10 months old

Matthew reached 10 months old this week. We have been pretty busy so I am blogging late and I just posted a bunch of new pics. He is still doing great and growing like crazy.
Last Thursday Matthew was scratched by our kitty cat. It was pretty close to the eye so we went to the doctor just to make sure it was okay. She said it looked fine and it has heald very nicely. Unfortunatly our cat, Friday, had to be declawed the very next morning. She was at the vet's all weekend to recover. She isn't completely heald yet but she is getting there. I was ready to find her a new home but Matt knew how much she meant to me and suggested the declawing instead.
Matthew is still cruising the furniture. He shows signs of wanting to let go and walk but he is still to unsteady. He has been letting go of the table and standing while clapping but no steps yet. But he can get around pretty fast by crawling. It's funny when I say "I'm gunna getcha" he just takes off while laughing.
He is eating a ton more. Some meals he won't even touch his bottle and just want solid food. A few meals he ate to containers of baby food that were 6oz each so he ate 12oz. But the doctor said to keep feeding him a lot because as soon as he starts walking he will lose weight. I've noticed he has gottin taller which makes him look thinner. But at the doctor's last week he weighed 22lbs. I couldn't believe it. He has been very picky at bed time. Some times he need to blow off some steam then others he just passes out before hitting the bed. But he hasn't really like being rocked anymore. He just wants to go straight into bed. If I do try to rock him he just squirms out of my hands. He has also started taking baths in a regular tub which he just loves.
Anyways some very exciting things are planned for this month. This weekend Matthew's Uncle Nathan is coming to visit, his cousin is being baptised, and his Aunt Katey is turning 17. Then later this month Matthew and I along with Nana are going to Houston for a week to visit with my family.

You know I can't wait for ya'll to get here! I can't wait to see how big he is! We've all really missed him, and I'm going to go check out the new pics! Love, Aunt Crystal and all the rest of us!
