14 months

It's hard to believe he's 14 months old. It seems like he changes everyday. The past couple weeks have been pretty crazy. Last week I got sick and ended up in the emergency room. Unforunatly they couldn't find out what was wrong but my doctor thinks it may be my gallbladder. But luckily my pain went away after a few days and I haven't had any trouble since then. So as soon as I started feeling better Matthew got sick. It's probably the first time he's gotten really sick. I put him down for a nap and he had thrown up during it. After that he couldn't keep any thing down until the next day. We tried giving him pedialite and he hated it. I felt so sorry for him cause we had to syringe the drink into his mouth but I didn't want him getting dehydrated. The next day he was feeling better but was being really careful about what he ate. Then a couple days went by and Matt came home sick and was sick the rest of the night but is now feeling better.
Matthew is still not eating nearly what he use to but we're working on it. He's learned that if he takes a bite of something and doesn't like it that he can just take it out of his mouth. It just seems like he's gone from liking everything to acting like his daddy when it comes to food. Or one day he'll eat something and the next day he'll spit it out but that's kids for ya.
Of course he's getting closer to the terrible two stage. He's been having a lot more everyday day around 1pm he gets tired and he starts laying down everywhere he goes. So as soon as he gets in his crib he ftantrums lately. He's usually more prone to them when he's tired of course. He's actually been on a regular nap schedule too. Which I never reguired a nap from him before but it seems alls asleep and could sleep anywhere from 1-3 hours. But if we are at someone elses house he has trouble sleeping because he would hate to miss something. We've recently tried taking him swimming at his Grandma&Grandpa's house but the water has been cold each time we go and he has not enjoyed it. So he is going to take swim lessons with his cousin at the Y. Hopeful he enjoys it.
I hope you enjoyed the update.
