1st Halloween and crawling

Matthew celebrated his 1st Halloween this week. He dressed as a pirate. He was so cute. On Thursday we went to a pumpkin patch and got Matthew's 1st pumpkin. We went and saw Matthew's Nana and Papa. Then we met up with his Aunt Steph, Aunt Alyssa, and Cousin Jocelyn for trick or treating in Lancaster. On Friday we went to visit some family friends because they wanted to see him in his costume. We planned on going to Boo on Broadway but before we could park Matthew had fallen asleep. So we called it a night.
Matthew's teeth have been really bothering him. He isn't enjoying eating and is having trouble sleeping. Napping is especially difficult for him lately. On Thursday he didn't take a nap until 7pm. Even that nap was short lived.
He has also started to crawl. Matt saw him for the first time on Thurday. He went to kiss him goodbye and he was crawling in his crib. Of course by the time I got in there he had stopped. But he crawled for me today. I set him on the floor and he went forward onto his belly and started. He crawled maybe 3 or 4 feet. I stopped him because he was going under the furniture :) He isn't able to crawl on his hands and knees but he's movin. Since he has been more moblie Friday has been keeping an eye on him. He was sitting up the other day and we he saw here he layed down. Then he rolled a few times towards here and grabbed her hair. She just froze and didn't know what to do so I stepped in. Ever since she has been keeping her distance. He is also getting using his walker better. He is able to turn it around and follow me around the island. It takes him a while but he has all the time in the world anyways.

I remember Brittany just rolling around to get places and then doing the "army man" scooting/crawling...she moved more to cruising than much real crawling. Austin was similar, but he did more real crawling and some cruising before walking... He's just getting too big!
