First haircut

Matthew is now 13 1/2 months old. Last Saturday he got his first haircut. He did okay for a 1 year old. Luckily a few days prior we drove through the bank and my mom got him a lollipop. Within a few minutes Matthew caught on how to eat it and suck on it. So when Matthew started fussing and squirming in the chair my mom pulled out a sucker and it calmed him down. I took before pictures because the morning we were getting it cut it was so crazy looking. He had gone to bed with it wet so that didn't help. They unfortunately had to cut all his curls out which were so cute but his haircut turned out so nice. But he looks older now but still cute as a button.
Since summer is finally here I took Matthew to the park. Which he had been to before with his cousins, Brittany and Austin. But he was 2 months old at the time. This time he was able to run around and play with all the stuff they have there. He was so cute the way he would just run all excited from one thing to another. They have a huge sand pit for kids and he liked it but as soon as that first fist of sand hit the his mouth he was out of there :) He has overcome his fear of grass and likes running around it now. He prefers the concrete just cause it's less bumpy. But anyways they have musical equipment at this park which is kid friendly and hard to break. Matthew probably enjoyed the drums most of all.

Yay! Another update...I can't wait to take him to the playground where he can play...I remember that one--so fun! but it was cold in May! :)
