First Swim :)

Matthew's is now 10 weeks old. I took him down to see his Grandma Groves, Aunt Steph, and Aunt Katey. We took him in their pool. It was his first time in a pool. Yes, I put plenty of sun block on and Grandma and Aunt Steph had bought him some little baby speedos to wear. I dunked his feet in first and he screamed his head off probably because it was a little chilli. But once we got in he enjoyed it. He didn't like coming out and he would close his eyes when the sun shined but overall I think he really enjoyed swimming. He then set with Aunt Katey on the raft until he got hungry then Grandma wrapped him up and fed him till he finally pooped out. We stayed until the middle of the afternoon and Matthew slept the whole way home and is still sleeping. I guess he had quite a work out in the pool. So next time we'll go over in the evening to swim then maybe he'll sleep all night :) Also Matthew has increased his smiling and laughing. He will smile when he hears a familiar voice or if he is smiled at. He has only laughed for his daddy so far. I do the same thing that Matt does to get him to laugh but nothing :( I guess I'm just not funny looking enough.
In family news: I recently had my hearing checked finally. They found that both ear drums were ok but I do hear better out of my right ear than my left which I knew already. But the reason that I may not be hearing as good as I should and have been having headaches is from my sinuses. So the doctor gave me a very expensive perscription and my hearing should improve over the next month or so. Also Matt has started his last quarter of school and applied for graduation last week :). He has worked so hard for this and I am so proud of him. Over the next month my brother and his wife (Bobby and Caro) will be flying up to see Matthew for the first time. I also think my brother Eddie will try to fly up at the same time. I am very excited to see them.
