Home from the hospital

All three of us are home from the hospital; we left the hospital around lunchtime today. Everyone is happy and healthy.

I just uploaded a bunch of pictures we took at the hospital to the Hospital Stay Gallery. Some of the pictures you might have already seen on the Flickr site, but there are a lot more pictures here on this site now. I'll try to get some video up soon, but that takes longer than pictures.

So far, Friday T. Cat has behaved. She sniffed around Matt a little bit, and even tried to help change a diaper. We had a conversation about the baby though, and I think Friday and I are seeing eye-to-eye now.

We are going to the pediatrician tomorrow for Matt's first checkup. Grandma Groves is coming up to visit tomorrow as well.

The OSU Medical center was pretty good. The nurses were friendly and provided great service. If I have any complaint, it's that they try to almost overeducate the patients. They gave us a whole bunch of free stuff on our way out, which was great. The vending machines gave me trouble. The security doors were a hassle. But really, these are the kind of problems you want to have when you are in the hospital for any reason. If the worst thing that happens at the hospital is that I overpay for parking, I think that's a good sign. The room was comfortable, the staff and faculty were very knowledgeable, and like I said, everyone is happy and healthy.
