Hurricane Update

Well is you noticed that I wasn't one the internet the last few days it was because we did not have cable/internet. It wasn't too bad. We still had wo channels plus everything we had recorded on the DVR. Our power didn't go out thank goodness. We weren't so lucky with our roof. We did recieve a little bit of roof damage. As far as we know. Our neighborhood seems to have quite a few houses with roof damage.
Matthew is doing really well. He is threatening to start crawling. He digs his feet in and tries to push but then his arms give out. But he his getting the rolling thing down. A few days ago he rolled from his back to his belly then lifted up. We spent today with his Great Grandma Anglim. We took her to lunch because she has been out of power for at least 24 hours now. Then we just hung out with her for a few hours. Matthew was wide awake and talking to her. They played patty cake which Matthew just loves. He rolled over for her and then later rolled for his Daddy to see. He also set up for her. I was able to get some pics of them together. Matthew has recently found his feet and can't get enough of them. He'll grab them and then kick'em out. His was playing with this toy this evening that is like a car toy. It has steering wheel and buttons. Anyways he was having so much fun with it and making noises Matt and I hadn't heard yet. I enjoy every new thing he does. I'm glad I don't miss a minute of it. I think he is getting some more teeth. He is chewing on his fingers again and having trouble going to sleep. Tonight he was fussy so I just rocked him and rubbed his gums until he fell asleep. I was telling Matt's grandma today that he is just so precious when he sleeps at night. He takes like 20 minute cat naps through the day. So when he falls asleep at night he is really out for good. I check on him before I go to bed but I could just stare at him forever. But I'm sure that's how all moms are.
