Matthew's 1st tooth
8/29/2008
Matthew's first tooth came in today! He has been teething for about a week now. I had told the doctor on Wednesday that he was drooling, eating his hands, and coughing a bit. Which he had never done before and they are symptoms of teeth coming in. But she didn't see anything and thought they may take a while. Then last night when I tried to lay him down for bed he was fussy. It probably took an hour for him to settle down. I told Matt he was teething but Matt just thought he wasn't tired. But I have him on such a good routine that it had to be something else because why all of a sudden is he not tired at 8pm. So I just knew his teeth were coming in. I did give him a little baby tylenol. It definintly helped. I tried the cold teething ring and he did not like that. Then I checked this morning but nothing. Well we had met up with my mom and did some shopping then went to lunch. As my mom was driving us home he had smiled at me and I say this little white tooth sticking out of his gums. It's in the front on his bottom right. It feels like the one next to it isn't far behind.
Also this story is so weird- As most of you know my sister in-law, Carolina, is expecting her first little baby. Well she had found out right around the time I had a year ago. Then I found out May 5th is her due date which was Matthew's original due date. I just thought that was crazy. I am very excited about the new arrival. I am already planning on going down to see him or her and to help out the new parents. I have only known for a couple of days but I'll admit I have already bought a few things. I can't help it :) Congratulations Bobby and Carolina!!!

Oh, glad he got that over with! He's going to be early with all the teeth things--like Brittany...should get grown-up ones early too! Show us a picture! Crystal

Well it's tiny and our digital camera isn't working again. But we can see it and feel it. The one next to it feels like it will come in soon. Anyways have fun in Disney! Matthew can't wait to get his "first ears" :)
