Yesterday we had Matthew's birthday party. It was so much fun and I think Matthew enjoyd seeing everyone. We set up his bounce house but he was scared of it. So everytime I tried to put him in it he would cling to me. He refused to eat his cake wth his hands but he was kinda tired out anyways. We did gifts first cause we thought he would get messy. He loved all his gifts. In fact it looks like Christmas morning today in our living room. We would open one gift and he would want to sit there and play with it instead of moving on but whatever. As soon as that was all over he was ready to take a nap. But as soon as the last person left he was awake.

Matt's family was here and his sister Steph, me, and my mom are all into coupons. During the party we found out that Kroger was tripling coupons. So of course we all busted out our coupns and started negotiating and trading them. It was a lot of fun and apparently funny to those around us.

I made a video of the first year of Matthew's life from when he was first born upto now. We showed it during his party. It was nice looking through all his own pictures. It was hard to imagine just a year ago he was such a tiny little thing.

He is walking more more. He stood up and took a few steps for his aunts yesterday but he is walking a lot today. So hopefully by the tiime we go to Houston next month he'll be running around :)

Later that night we got a call that my sister-in-law's water broke and was at the hospital. I've heard this morning that labor is moving along and everything is going well so far. Please keep them in your prayers and hope we will have a healthy mommy and baby on Easter Day.

Even though Matthew turned one on Wednesday this will be his first Easter. Which is weird but that's just how it landed on the calendar. Matthew go an Easter basket this morning and loved all the stuff in it. He got a bunny of course, eggs that looked like baseballs, baseballs that go in the bath tub, and little cars. Daddy got up early and has been working all morning on apple for two easter dinners. We are doing an egg hunt before we leave. I got Matthew such a cute little suit for Easter. We are then going to Matt's Grandma's house. We'll have dinner there and another egg hunt. We will then go down to Lancaster to visit with my parents. My dad is still in the hospital and as moved out of the ICU but is still no where near coming home. So we plan to go visit him and then have dinner with my mom. I will post pictures of everything in a few days.

I hope you enjoyed the update. Thank you to everyone for the birthday cards, gifts, and helping us celebrate Matthew's birthday. We apprectiate everyone for all their help and support over the past year.
