The Potty

Well Matthew is getting closer and closer to potty training. But I wasn't even going to attempt it until after he's 18 months cause the doctor and all the books say he isn't physically ready until then. But at one of his doctor visits his doctor suggested I go ahead and buy a potty and place it in the bathroom. That way by the time I'm ready to train him he'll be use to the potty being around. So for the past month or so when ever I go in the restroom he goes in with me and he'll sit on his potty. Well today we were on our way to the play room and he stopped infront of the doorway to the bathroom. I said "do you want to go potty" and he looked at me and then set on his potty. It was so cute. He's still not close to being potty trained. But we plan on going to Houston in September so maybe his Aunt Crystal can train him while we're there :)

Yeah, and giving him beer too is a great idea! That oughta loosen him up for bathroom training.

You just expect me to do potty train? I better stock up on the beer! j/k Anyhow, I guess you'll want me to homeschool him too! One bit of advice for potty training the boy--train him to sit to pee first!!!
